Yip its this time of the month again. Another one behind us. July has been a little less hectic than the may and June but it hasn't kept me from being busy. I got home from switzerland and got straight on my bike for some training. Its was so good to be able to ride in my park again and just practice some of those tricks that have been getting a bit rusty on the road...

In the middle of June we had the first round of the german FMX Championship. 15 motivated riders signed on for that event and some choose that location to ride out their first longflips to dirt. After 2 training sessions we get used to the Setup and all were ready to rock. The qualification was pretty good, we had good weather conditions and so we was able to show the spectators some nice FMX action...

Can you remember the X-Games Best Trick contest back in 2007? There was a guy with work gloves trying a double backflip – unfortunately he failed and crashed. But 2008 he came back and successfully rode that trick out at the best trick contest of the Navi MotoX World Championships and also during a show in Genua/Italy. This guy is special and fits not the cliche of the typical FMX rider. We chatted with Scott about the good- and the bad sides of the Double Flip, the prejudice that he can't do other tricks and some other interesting stuff...

A season which couldn't have started worse: In its preparation Mat crashed heavily. After two months of hard training and only three weeks ahead of the first competition that was a major throwback for Mat who totally felt on top of his riding. Now this is his WAY back there - but not only: The project is also a more intimate view on Mat's WAY in FMX. A WAY that started in a small Swiss place called Payerne and led him into the wide world of his sport...

Last weekend the Swatch Free4Style event took place in Estavayer-le-lac/Switzerland. More than 20.000 people enjoyed the sunny weather with great conditions for the riders. The program was tight – with Jet-ski, wakeboard, skateboard and of course FMX contests. FMX riders like Mat Rebeaud, Lance Coury, Levi Sherwood, Nick De Wit, Drake McElroy, Jimmy Verburgh, Busty Wolter and Thamer Engeli were invited to show their skills...

Last week I headed out to Schuie's playground at Boonah, QLD for a ride, and to work some more on this trail bike park business which is getting built near Schuie's. But the only way to get a decent break from the drudgery of work is to kick over the bike and go for a late afternoon ride...

X Games gold medalist Nate Adams has ill skills on his bike, but his skills on the mic are equally as dope. "Patchy" has been putting in work and kicking rhymes for the past two years, and now he's decided to take it a step further with the release of his first full-length LP, "Life, and Other Things...".
